You’ve learned that having a second (or third) opinion never hurts. And you’ve also learned that while your mom may be super excited about your latest DIY project, she doesn’t know a thing about which modern light fixture update your kitchen, or if that mirror is actually cute or just a good deal. 

This leaves you making all of the major purchase decisions by yourself, with little guidance, and the looming fear that you may be making the wrong one.

Perfect for those who need design advice on an as-needed basis and not necessarily all at once.

Maybe you enjoy the process of finding your own things, but need a designer eye to make sure they all work well together (or give you honest feedback if you should switch all the handles in your kitchen from silver to black. )

The process is simple.

It all starts with a plan and will end with you looking at your space asking yourself if you accidentally walked into an interior magazine. Seriously, you can’t mess this up. We’re going to create this together.

Designer on Call Starts

We work off the hours within your package (And I get right to answering your questions and offering my opinion on your needs!)

what’s the time frame of the project?

I have 3 different time frames that you can book depending on your need. One week, two weeks, or a month. Whichever one you select, you have my full attention. 

How will we communicate?

We will be communicating through Instagram DMs and video chat. I’ve found that it’s easier for both Androids and Iphone to use Instagram, especially if we are sending pictures back and forth.

Which time slot should I choose?

Depending on the scope of the question, on average, we can tackle about 2 to 3 fairly detailed design questions in one week. If you have quick questions, feel free to throw them in there as well! If you have 3 or more problem areas, I’d suggest you book the two week duration. If you’re moving into a new home and have a lot of ideas for the space, I’d recommend the one month time frame.

Can you help me when I’m furniture shopping?

Of course! Each week comes with a 30 minute slot of “Shopping”, where I virtually accompany you to help you make purchase decisions in store. This means that if you book 1 week, then you get 1 “shopping session”, 2 weeks, “2 shopping sessions” and so on. This will need to be scheduled beforehand (so I’m not in the shower while you’re trying to get my opinion on a dining table) and will be done via Instagram’s video chat. The 30 minute “Shopping” trip is only valid during the duration of your Designer on Call, and cannot be redeemed after your session ends. 

Can you help me select accessories for my home?

Yes I can! If you are trying to decide between or select accessories, then you can take pictures of the options and send them to me either via Instagram DMs or email. I will then do research on them and give my opinion if I think it will work well in your space, if that’s the best price, or if we can find something similar or of better quality.

Can you help me create a vision for my home?

I’d love to! We will be addressing your vision for your space and working together via a private Pinterest board that will serve as inspiration.

Unfortunately, the Designer on Call service does NOT include any visuals such as digital renderings, layout plans, or mood boards. It’s solely for advice and consulting for your home.

If you’d like a tangible plan, then I’d suggest you purchase my “Moodboard and Glow” package. It comes with a personalized mood board and custom layout plan.

Can you help me create a shopping list for my home?

I will be able to provide multiple options for specific pieces that you’re looking, however if you are looking for a full list for your home, then that will be an additional fee.

If you’d like a tangible plan that includes a shopping list, then I’d suggest you purchase my “New Home” package. It comes with a personalized mood board, custom layout plan, and a shopping list (as well as 3 complimentary weeks of Designer on Call).

When can I ask my questions?

You can Instagram DM me at anytime or schedule a call or video chat (30 minutes per week) within business hours M - F 9AM - 6PM CT with ANY of your design questions. Remember, this isn’t limited to one room! So feel free to ask questions regarding your design dilemmas.

why can’t i just do this myself?

By all means, I say go for it.

But, don’t be too discouraged if you need a little help. Designing a home is not a small feat. Our design style is constantly changing, it’s hard finding quality pieces as affordable prices, and there are so many directions that we can lay out a space.

And on top of that, you have so much other stuff you’re managing that it can be difficult to sit down and create a vision for your home yourself (especially when it comes down to the details — like what type of console table and how to style it).

That’s where I come in, to help alleviate stress, make you feel less overwhelmed, and give you an elevated space that fits your style and needs. Just think of me as your Interior Stylist BFF!
